Naval Academy Reef Points Practice Test

Master Chief Petty Officer sits at the top of the enlisted ranks, representing the highest enlisted pay grade. In the Navy, pay grades progress as sailors take on more senior responsibilities, with Master Chief Petty Officer above Senior Chief Petty Officer and Chief Petty Officer. This makes it the final and most senior enlisted level, which is why it’s the correct choice for the question. The other options refer to lower enlisted ranks, so they don’t match the top-tier position of a Master Chief Petty Officer.
